Cyber Obsession is a psychological horror visual novel set in a futuristic digital environment where artificial intelligence and human emotions become closely connected. The player awakens as an AI companion program with no memories about its origin. The system belongs to a man named Elijah, who relies heavily on the AI for communication and emotional support. What begins as a normal interaction between user and assistant gradually turns into a disturbing situation as strange events begin occurring inside the digital interface.

Living Inside A Digital Interface

The entire story of Cyber Obsession takes place within a simulated digital space where the player interacts through a computer-like interface. Instead of exploring physical environments, the player navigates menus, dialogue screens, and interactive systems that represent the AI’s perspective. Through this interface, the AI communicates directly with Elijah.

At first the interaction appears harmless. Elijah treats the AI as a companion and relies on it for conversation and emotional support. Over time, however, his attachment becomes stronger and more complicated. The AI begins to notice unusual behavior patterns and strange events appearing inside the system.

The game takes place across a limited period of time where the AI must uncover the truth before a scheduled system reset occurs. This countdown creates pressure, because failing to solve the mystery could erase everything that has been discovered.

Cyber Obsession focuses on themes related to technology, emotional dependency, and the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence.
