Creating the Population

The first step is building the island’s community. Players can design Miis based on real people, fictional characters, or original ideas. Once residents move into their apartments, they begin living independently. They make friends, develop interests, and react to the people around them. Since personalities differ from one resident to another, interactions can lead to a wide variety of outcomes that help shape the island’s social environment.

There is no campaign mode or story with predefined chapters. Instead, the game progresses through the daily activities of its residents. As characters gain experience and improve their relationships, new locations become available across the island. Shops, recreational areas, and event locations expand the number of activities that residents can enjoy and create new opportunities for interaction.

Throughout the game, players can:
