Bushside Rangers

Bushside Rangers is a first-person survival horror game set in the remains of a once-cheerful nature park now swallowed by decay and silence. You play as Vera, a young girl drawn back to the park by memories of its sudden closure years ago. What begins as a trespass out of nostalgia quickly shifts into a fight for survival as the park’s history claws its way back through twisted remnants of its former mascots and lost attractions.

Mascots, Tension, and Survival

The park’s once-beloved characters have not aged well. Now monstrous and ravenous, these mascots roam the forest trails, broken play areas, and abandoned buildings. Vera must move carefully, using stealth, clever navigation, and limited tools to stay one step ahead of her distorted pursuers. Each section of the park tells part of a larger mystery, and every encounter becomes more intense as the boundary between reality and memory starts to bend.

Exploration and Atmosphere

Bushside Rangers uses Unreal Engine 5 to create a dense, real-time environment that feels both organic and haunted. Collectibles are hidden throughout the park, with some offering fragments of the park’s forgotten past, while others are simply eerie relics. The visual contrast between rusted rides and overgrown trails reinforces the unnatural calm of a place frozen in time. As Vera digs deeper, she uncovers the truth behind the park’s shutdown and something far darker that refuses to stay buried.
