Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 is an open-world racing game set in a fictional version of Mexico. Players participate in the Horizon Festival, a large automotive event that includes races, stunt activities, exploration challenges, and multiplayer competitions. The game features hundreds of licensed vehicles from different manufacturers, including sports cars, off-road trucks, classic vehicles, and hypercars. Players can freely drive across deserts, jungles, cities, beaches, mountains, and highways while completing activities across the map.

The game includes a campaign structure built around Horizon Adventure chapters. Players unlock festival outposts and new race categories by earning Accolade points through gameplay. Although there is no traditional linear story, the game contains Horizon Story missions where players meet festival characters, complete driving objectives, and explore different parts of Mexico. Some missions focus on photography, delivery challenges, stunt driving, or exploration expeditions.

Open World and Activities

The map contains different event types that are unlocked gradually during progression. Road Racing focuses on asphalt tracks and circuit events, while Dirt Racing and Cross Country include off-road terrain and longer outdoor routes. Street Scene races take place in traffic-filled city roads at night. Players can also participate in drift zones, speed traps, danger signs, and showcase events against planes or trains. Weather changes dynamically depending on the region of the map.

Cars and Customization

The game supports both keyboard/controller driving and steering wheel setups.
