Unusual Controls and Subtle Mechanics

Movement in Fused 240 isn’t standard. Instead of typical driving controls, players use F and N for acceleration and braking, while S and I control a mechanical shifter arm. This deliberate choice creates a disconnected, almost clumsy interaction with the vehicle—emphasizing the unnatural tone of the game. Players also use SPACE to pick up objects, which may lead to unexpected moments depending on who or what they interact with. The interface reinforces the discomfort, making it clear that nothing in this game follows conventional logic.
