The Nanny

The Nanny places players in the role of Clint, a young boy left under the care of someone he barely knows. The house is quiet, the tasks are simple, but something is wrong. You explore dim rooms where furniture looks untouched and photos seem out of place. As you walk the empty hallways, your only objective flashes quietly on the screen—“Look for your parents.” It’s a straightforward prompt, but the deeper you go, the more that line begins to feel like a warning.

Daily Routine Turns Into a Search for Answers

Using basic controls (WASD to move and E to interact), you move through a home that slowly reveals itself as unnatural. The light bulbs flicker, the television stays blank, and the family you were told would return never does. Clint starts noticing clues—shadows that don’t belong, drawings that weren’t there before, and sounds from behind closed doors. These aren’t jumpscares, but lingering signs that something has shifted. Every room you revisit feels colder, emptier, and less safe than before.

A Short Horror Story That Builds Slowly

With a runtime of 15 to 20 minutes, The Nanny delivers a focused experience where atmosphere is everything. It doesn’t rush, relying on careful pacing and quiet tension to unsettle the player. What begins as a normal day under supervision becomes an investigation into the disappearance of Clint’s sister—and the unnatural presence that may be responsible. The game doesn’t rely on traditional horror cues but builds dread through what it doesn’t explain, leaving the player to wonder who’s really in the house—and why they’re still here.
